It is with a heavy heart the LACoFD shares the Active-Duty Death of Fire Fighter (FF) Andrew Lithgoe, who unexpectedly passed on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, while off-duty at home.
FF Lithgoe was last assigned to Fire Station 36 in the City of Carson. He faithfully served our Department, residents, and communities for 22 years.
We extend our prayers and condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of FF Lithgoe.
