NEW: An Aston police officer was injured Friday night when a subject fled a vehicle, which rolled back into his police cruiser.
Aston Detective Sgt. Mike Ruggeri said the officer was getting out of the vehicle when it was struck.

His arm was pinned between the door and the door frame. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for his recovery🙏🏻
