🛎PLX Token Security Incident update and Bitget User Compensation Plan

Compensation eligibility: Users who bought PLX tokens on Bitget from 3:47 PM on June 1 to 12:00 AM on June 2, 2024 (UTC), and still hold the tokens on the platform.

Compensation calculation: Based on the amount spent at the time of purchase, compensated in USDT.

Distribution method: After verifying the data, the compensation amount will be credited to your Bitget account within 14 business days.

The PLEXUS team is only respectful and grateful for Bitget's decision and response. As Bitget's notice, our team tried to compensate 100% for the damage caused by the delayed suspension of transaction on Bitget through PLX token, but Bitget decided to compensate 100% with USDT, and the PLEXUS team supports this decision.

Through communication with Bitget team, we will proceed with token exchange as soon as possible. We will notify the community about it later.

Bitget Status Update Notice

Hello, PLEXUS team here.

As previously announced, we would like to update you on the situation following the hacking incident.

After the hacking incident, the PLEXUS team requested Bitget to halt trading approximately 40 minutes later. However, due to Bitget's delayed response, losses were incurred. Consequently, Bitget requested that the PLEXUS team compensate the losses in USDT. They indicated that if the PLEXUS team did not handle the compensation, Bitget would manage it independently.

Unfortunately, the PLEXUS team lacks the capacity to address this issue directly. We proposed compensating with newly issued PLX tokens as the best ethical solution we could offer, but Bitget rejected this proposal.

Additionally, Bitget refused to exchange the PLX tokens that users previously held and unilaterally suspended trading.

Thousands of users have requested exchanges for the PLX tokens they hold on Bitget. We are striving to communicate effectively and bring you positive news.

The newly issued PLX tokens are scheduled to be launched in August alongside the launch of the Cross-chain Vault service. They will be listed on a new CEX, providing users with a seamless trading environment. We apologize for the concern and worry caused.

Bitget-Related Announcement
Hello Holders,

We understand that you have been eagerly waiting for updates regarding Bitget. We apologize for the delay and would like to provide you with the current situation.

The PLEXUS team proposed a 1:1 swap of the 58,134,406 PLX tokens held by Bitget based on the snapshot. However, Bitget responded that they could only exchange 11,121,995,036 PLX. This amount includes the Old PLX tokens that the hacker deposited into Bitget through additional issuance. This swap would dilute the value of existing token holders' tokens by 1/23, making it unacceptable. We have explained this to Bitget but have not yet received a positive response.

We requested a trading halt from Bitget 40 minutes after the hack occurred, but trading was not suspended for 15 hours, resulting in significant losses. While the PLEXUS team is not entirely responsible for the delay in trading suspension, we have decided to ethically proceed with 100% compensation for the lost amount in new PLX tokens based on the current market price. However, Bitget has requested that compensation be provided in USDT, which we are currently unable to process. Discussions are ongoing regarding this matter.

We hope to receive a positive response from Bitget and will provide further updates as soon as possible.
