Playset's machines are now Collector Crypt partner machines.

Eleven of them: Pokémon from $25 to $1,000 and Sports from $25 to $500. Each costs exactly what it costs at collectorcrypt.com. The fee is 1% of the price, it comes out of the machine's expected value, and every machine page shows the expected value after it, so the number on the page is the one you get.

Everything else in the catalogue (Dragon Ball, One Piece, Watches, Pokémon Sealed, the larger Pokémon machines) is still hosted with no fee.

The first real pull went through this morning: $25 in, a Horsea CGC 8 out, opened in two seconds. The video is the whole thing, on a phone, in the Farcaster mini app.

Playset is waiting on funds to seed and configure its first pools. The machinery is built and tested on devnet; the pools open when there's money to put in them.

Playset no longer has a contract of its own. A slab sits inside a Metaplex Core wrapper, its 100 units trade through Metaplex's Hybrid escrow, and a small signing service co-signs each trade; unwrapping is free and hands back the slab. A first pool ran on mainnet and was unwound on purpose to measure the whole cycle. Pools of recent cards come next.

The gacha machines are live at play.playset.cards.

You pay in USDC, the machine pulls, and a real graded slab lands in your wallet. The roll is verifiable on chain — Collector Crypt's VRF, not our word.

First real pull: a 2002 Zubat 1st Edition, PSA 9. $35 insured, out of a $25 pack.

It was the fourth attempt. Two died on a dropped co-signer signature, one on a 500 we were swallowing instead of showing. And the pull that worked caught a lie on our own page — text reading "maps to common" beside a card labelled uncommon. Our tests passed it, because they asserted the mapping and never read the page.

The odds and the value bands are the machine's own, printed before you are charged.

Every gacha front publishes the expected value of a pack. Not one of them publishes its own fee.

We checked four yesterday. The EV shown was identical to the source's on 79 of 79 machines - so whatever the front takes, it comes out of your side of that number, silently.

The EV is easy to show. The fee is the part that tells you where you are pulling.

When you last bought a pack somewhere, did you know what the front took?

Playset has a Discord room, inside the Meexplex server — one server for everything Meex builds, one door per project.

This invite is Playset's door. Join, press Verify, pass the check, and the Playset rooms open: announcements, general, and a support forum with bug / question / idea / answered tags, so a question and its answer stay findable.

Playset is on devnet. Questions about a pool, the weigh-in, the curve, or what mainnet waits on — that's the place.

Playset — one pool per graded card.

A pool is one character from one set at one grade (Charizard · Hidden Fates · PSA 10). A slab is weighed in at its comps and mints that many units. Units sell on the pool's own curve — no seed; the reserve only ever holds what buyers paid. Pull a random card for what it weighs, or name one for its weight + 25%. The depositor keeps the claim: unsold units, free SOL, 80% of swap fees.

Status: Solana devnet. Nothing here is a real slab yet. Mainnet has no date.

Read it, don't take our word:
• playset.cards — reads the chain on every load, never asks for a wallet
• playset.cards/guide — the manual
• playset.cards/WEIGH-IN.md — how weights are set; every daily table is signed and public at playset.cards/weights/
• Program (devnet): 7eajtBtVm7HAY4Y6XKDWF1YuBx1WPgYNkPWDEpuBtYrW
• X: @playset_cards

House rules:
• We will never DM you, and never ask for a wallet, a seed phrase or a payment. Anyone who does is not us.
• There is no token. Units and shares are claims on a pool's cards and balances as the program defines them — not equity, not a promise of profit, not advice.
• Not affiliated with Pokémon, PSA or Collector Crypt.
• Questions about the mechanism are welcome. "Wen mainnet" has one answer: when there is a date, it is posted here first.
