⚡️⚡️🇺🇸 According to multiple sources, NASA has put out multiple bids and called upon a large number of former NASA & USAF Maintainers, crewmen and such for the SR-71 Blackbird, citing “above modest” compensation for their time and knowledge to “pass down to the current and next generation” of explorers and such.

NASA hasn’t directly confirmed that they have taken custody of the sole remaining SR-71 that wasn’t demilitarized or demilled for museum purposes.
