We skinned our knees while rehearsing, stripped the everyday squalor with colourful videos, smashed the haters’ patience cup with numerous Ъs, and now...

[Historical note. In pre-Barynya times Piterville filmed the “Batsketball” music video. There is a tradition of smashing a plate with the project’s title on it before filming. What we could afford was a signed plastic plate bearing our names. It was torn apart in small pieces]

...we are finally breaking a plate on our first filming day as we are making our own detective movie!

Translation👇🏻
Dmitriy: Dearest ones, amazing ones! We actors, Piterville members, creators of the project, showrunners would like to start with bowing low to you for this day. Thank you very much! All of you gathered here are great!

And we have to say the following. I am speaking on behalf of Piterville now. This project is our first little step to the big screen. And we thank you so much for gathering here to take this step with us. We want it to be classy, brilliant and cool, because people standing here round me have the needed experience, brilliance and talent. Each of them – each of you – is a true Mansion of Secrets, so let’s unlock these mansions on our project. Let’s unfold in our creative work as much as possible. Let’s flourish together like a great orangery in our profession, in our creativity, in our Mansion! Shall we?

...As the story goes, the plate is to be broken on the first shooting day so that everyone gets a piece of it, and to be put back together on the last day...
