To walk from the Veteranov Prospect to the Stachek Prospect through the courtyards, or to stride along the Nevsky Prospect catching Gogol’s artist’s ghostly footfall. Or even head straight to Lakhta to enjoy the sight of the bay. As Masyanya used to say: “The sea! We have real sea here!”

We admire it all, Peter’s Burg. Your routes are charted on our hearts. You dressed up for your holiday, lifted up the rain curtain and are shining with the steeples on Petropavlovskaya fortress and Admiralty house.

Happy birthday to you, dearest one! Respect your past and strive into the future, keep progressing! Retain your northernly soul and be kind and welcoming to your citizens and your guests!
