Летитъ по небу краснозобая казарка, летитъ и улыбается. Где-то на юге Сибири весьма доволенъ хохлатый осоедъ. А садовая камышовка, что нынче зимуетъ въ Индии, заливается трелью любви.

Причина въ томъ, что чувствуютъ они на себе нежный и внимательный взглядъ барыни Настасьи. Увлеклась давеча голубушка наша бёрдвотчингомъ, то бишь наблюдениемъ за пернатыми. И какъ всё, за что берётся, делаетъ это основательно и съ любовью. Легко можемъ понять сихъ птицъ, ибо съ первыхъ дней питервилльскихъ согреты мы той же заботой и чуткостью.

A red-breasted goose is flying across the sky, smiling. Somewhere in the southern Siberia a crested honey buzzard is feeling pleased. A Blyth’s reed warbler now wintering in India is trilling a lovesong.

The reason for all this is Barynya Nastasia’s gentle and attentive gaze they feel on them. Our dearest turtledove has recently got carried away with birdwatching. Just like anything she undertakes she does it thoroughly and lovingly. We know how these birds feel for since Piterville’s early days we have been warmed with the same care and advertence.
