The central research focus of this PhD position is the development and application of advanced nested sampling (NS) techniques for molecular systems. Organic matter, ranging from small molecules to complex polymers, exhibits intricate phase behaviours that are challenging to predict with conventional methods. While traditional approaches to mapping phase equilibria are well-established, they are often too laborious for complex molecules, limiting their applicability.
