The focus of this PhD project is the formalisation of the local Langlands correspondence for the group GL₂(F), where F is a non-Archimedean local field. The Langlands program is a monumental framework in modern mathematics, uniting areas such as number theory, representation theory, and harmonic analysis through deep conjectures and correspondences. The local Langlands correspondence, in particular, establishes a profound link between representations of p-adic groups and Galois representations, serving as a cornerstone for much of current research in arithmetic geometry and automorphic forms.
