Abstract

While fundamental formulations of physics, such as Newtonian mechanics, General Relativity (GR), and Quantum Mechanics, are time-symmetric, the universe around us is clearly not. The quest for an arrow of time has been a longstanding issue. In this talk, I propose a “generally covariant arrow of time” based on quantum (semiclassical) considerations in GR.
