We are pleased to announce a one-day crash course hosted by the School of Quantum Physics and Matter at IPM.

This course will provide an introduction to the Mathematica xAct package with a focus on its applications in gravitational physics.



Course Details:



Title: Introduction to Mathematica xAct Package and Applications in Gravitational Physics
Lecturer: Dr. Sajad Aghapour [Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (AEI)]

Date: 2 September 2025 - Morming session 9-12, Afternoon session 14-17 (including coffee breaks provided by IPM)

Venue: Classroom A, Farmanieh Campus, IPM

Prerequisites
Working knowledge of Mathematica
Familiarity with General Relativity
Bring your laptop and Install the xAct package on Mathematica
