🪙 Stablecoins: The New Rails for International Payments
I’m seeing an important shift: stablecoins are moving beyond crypto trading and becoming part of global payment infrastructure.
📈 According to the IMF, cross-border USDT and USDC flows grew from around $12B in Q1 2020 to $316B in Q1 2025
⚙️ For international businesses, the use cases are becoming clear:
→ Cross-border B2B payments
→ International supplier payments
→ Treasury & liquidity management
→ Faster settlement
But using stablecoins is easy. Integrating them properly into a corporate structure is the hard part
🏢 A corporate wallet isn’t enough.
You need the right legal entity, regulated fiat ↔ stablecoin providers, KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions screening, custody and transaction monitoring — especially under MiCA and AML/CFT requirements in Europe 🛡️
At PBC, we see stablecoins as a new payment rail that needs to fit into the company’s legal, financial and compliance architecture
💬 If you’re exploring them for international payments, B2B settlements, or treasury operations but aren’t sure how to integrate them into your corporate and compliance structure, DM: @palianibd
