In Bajaur, a bomb was planted near the house of Jamaat-e-Islami provincial deputy Amir Maulana Waheed Gul, damaging his house, guest room, and a vehicle. No casualties were reported, as he was not at home.

Separately, in Khar, Bajaur, old explosives were safely defused by police through a controlled detonation.
