«My biggest dream is to go down in history» - says Fan Xiaofan, 16, from China.

🇨🇳 It is Fan Xiaofan who represents China at the "Our Generation" contest.

Xiaofan's favourite school subject is drama class: she is the chair of the school drama club, and she spends most of her free time with the theatre troupe, where they have many tours and participate in festivals in different countries. They compose the plays and songs for their performances by themselves. Xiaofan's parents also work in the arts, music and theatre sphere and have always supported her.

"On the Road" is the song she will perform at the contest. It tells about Xu Xiake, the ancient Chinese geographer, about his way and the regrets he eventually lets go. This is the final song of the "Xiake on the Road" production. Xiaofan has chosen rap style so she could take out all the emotions she's got inside.

«Главная моя мечта - войти в историю» - говорит 16-летняя Фань Сяофань из Китая.

🇨🇳 Китай на конкурсе «Наше поколение» представит именно она - Фань Сяофань.

Любимый школьный предмет Сяофань - театр: в школе она председатель театрального кружка, а большую часть свободного времени проводит в театральной труппе, где у них много гастролей и участие в фестивалях в разных странах. Пьесы и песни для спектаклей они сочиняют сами. Родители Сяофань тоже работают в сфере искусства, музыки и театра и всегда безоговорочно её поддерживают.

На конкурс она везёт песню «В пути» - о китайском географе древности Сюй Сякэ, о его пути и сожалениях, которые он в конце концов отпускает. Это финальная песня постановки «Сякэ в пути». Сяофань выбрала рэп, чтобы можно было выплеснуть всё, что накопилось на душе.
