"We beseech thee also, so to direct and dispose the hearts of all Christian Rulers, that they may truly and impartially administer justice, to the punishment of wickedness and vice, and to the maintenance of thy true religion and virtue." - Liturgy of St. Tikhon

Normal people define democracy as procedure. If voting is free and fair, an election is considered democratic. Progressives define it as a process yielding a correct outcome – a govt supporting the leftist agenda of diversity, inclusion, and equity.https://orthodoxreflections.com/academics-incorporating-leftist-dogma-into-orthodox-christianity/
Orthodox Reflections Academics Incorporating Leftist Dogma into Orthodox Christianity - Orthodox Reflections Academics are trying to muddle teaching that is traditional and clear, while incorporating leftist dogma that is alien to the Orthodox Faith.

Why does all of the above matter? Sarkisian is not even canonically Orthodox, and he’s just some academic writing papers no one reads. It matters because he is not alone. He is just one of a collection of “Orthodox” hierarchs and academics who are committed to changing the Orthodox Faith. They present settled questions such as sexual morality as “open to further interpretation and dialogue.” At the same time, they present leftist dogma (Climate Change, diversity, equity, COVIDism) as if it were the dogma of the Church. They are seeking a world in which the only sins are those which transgress the commandments of leftism. Homosexuality, polyamory, kink, divorce, abortion, transhumanism, pedophilia, mandatory jabs – these things will be practically sacraments of their new Church. Whereas failing to take the jab, opposing open borders, or advocating traditional Orthodox sexual ethics will all be a rejection of the new Gospel. https://orthodoxreflections.com/academics-incorporating-leftist-dogma-into-orthodox-christianity/

If we are to move U.S.-Russia Relations from Geopolitical Tension to Détente to Rapprochement, we must first combat the pathology of Russophobia, and return the U.S. to a rational view of Russia. This requires that we first identify the two primary causes of Russophobia – spiritual illness and misinformation.

For anyone having paid attention to the abortion debates over the past 40 years, what the Archbishop is saying is crystal clear. It is yet another version of “personally opposed to abortion” but “support a women’s right to choose.” If the Archbishop had been completely honest, he would have expressed himself thusly, “As a Christian, I am personally morally opposed to abortion. We should take steps to help women and children through social programs and, hopefully, that will reduce demand for abortions. But we can’t coerce women into childbearing against their wills. We must trust women to make their own decisions and we must respect their bodily autonomy.”

Orthodox Reflections More Progressive Indoctrination from Archbishop Elpidophoros - Orthodox Reflections Archbishop Elpidophoros does not need to clarify his remarks from the March for Life. Anyone paying attention knows he endorsed abortion.

The US-orchestrated coup d’état and civil war in Ukraine has killed tens of thousands of innocents, injured tens of thousands more, and created millions of refugees, most of whom have fled to Russia. Why are we backing neo-Nazis and ultranationalists?

Why did the Director of Operations for the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the USA use racial terms borrowed from CRT when addressing an Orthodox readership and audience? CRT equals anti-White racism. Does Orthodoxy condemn all racism, or not?

Because of the CMS mandate (and local ones) surviving, we created a guide page to resources on our site assisting in applying for vaccine religious exemptions. Sample letters, sample HR question answers, etc.

The cruelty to the powerless, children and others, in our society is not an unfortunate by-product of otherwise rational policies. The cruelty is the point. Just as demons hate mankind and seek to torment us, so do those who are under their dark influence. Hurting others actually makes them feel good. The more innocent the other people, the better the feeling. The policies to “fight” COVID make absolutely no sense by design, because their very irrationality adds to the torment. Especially since these policies, if pursued to their logical conclusion, could end human life as we know it.

This is not a scientific debate. If it were, then it would be over. Just the facts quoted in this article alone would be enough to overturn the prevailing narrative. Those facts are not unimportant, of course, but they are not sufficient to free the minds of those overshadowed by dark forces. They do help, but only as part of a campaign of Spiritual Warfare that must be waged by the Church and her Faithful. This campaign needs prayer, fasting, preaching the Gospel, but also, above all, public martyrdom.

Which is the primary reason one of the most demonically possessed societies in the world, Australia, is attempting to crush Novak Djokovic. https://orthodoxreflections.com/is-the-war-on-covid-really-a-demonic-attack-on-children/

Three Lessons of 2021: 1. Do not let governments control the Church. Power-hungry leaders now know calling a crisis cancels freedom of religion. 2. The world around us is deeply, deeply corrupt. 3. Fear of death is destroying life. https://orthodoxreflections.com/wrapping-up-2021-and-welcome-to-2022/

Abbot Tryphon: "I have chosen not to take the vaccine. I do not think any vaccine will prevent anyone from getting Covid, and I have read with increased horror as the evidence has become increasingly clear within the scientific community that this vaccine is in reality causing the spread of this virus within the human community, while preventing natural immunity. The evidence is clear that those doctors and scientists who see the vaccines as unproven, and even dangerous long term, are being silenced by their colleagues within the scientific community. It seems clear to me that this world-wide pandemic comes from the Evil One. Nothing in my lifetime has caused such fear among the masses of people, world wide. This season that normally leads to gatherings of family and friends around the table in celebration of the Nativity of Our Salvation, has instead seen the closure of churches, and families banning their unvaccinated members from joining them in celebration."

Orthodox Reflections Apostolic Boldness from Abbot Tryphon: God Arranges Everything for Our Salvation - Orthodox Reflections Abbot Tryphon is 76, and has decided against the COVID jabs. The Abbot believes the pandemic is from the Devil, and that evidence about the effects of the jabs is being suppressed.

Given the mildness of Omicron, are vaccines necessary? On a cost/benefit basis are they worth it? If so, are they effective, or are we watching vaccine failure in real time? Ask your questions to an MD via live Webinar on 1/9/2022. https://orthodoxreflections.com/covid-webinar/
