Today, we are excited to share with you the results of our latest survey. The one we did during the #SayForeverDay street campaign and in ChatRoulette in June. We explored the correlation between optimism and desired lifespan.
We received more than 300 responses from participants in 10 different locations. Check out our public dashboard for an easy-to-digest overview of the findings, and if you're curious to delve into the raw data, we've got you covered with this Google Spreadsheet.
Among our most interesting findings:
• Folks who think they're likely to see anti-aging therapy within their lifetime also tend to want to live longer than 120 years.
• Curiously, it seems that desire to live forever or indefinitely doesn't correlate with the hopes of finding anti-aging therapy.
• Those with a positive outlook on the future are more likely to believe in the feasibility of anti-aging therapy within their lifespan.
• The aspiration to live for over 120 years, or even indefinitely, goes hand in hand with an optimistic view of the future.
Huge thanks to all the volunteers who joined this campaign. This was our first attempt to combine street outreach and public opinion studies. There are definitely lots of things we can improve, so please share your feedback, and we hope you are as excited as we are. Join us for the next #SayForeverDay on July 1st (we will post more on that in the upcoming days).
We also encourage you to engage with us by liking and sharing our posts on our social media platforms. Your engagement will greatly help us increase our reach and visibility. Thank you for being part of our online community!
