Why rally against aging?
Aging remains the largest driver of death and disease worldwide. Approximately 110,000 people die every day from age-related causes. Aging is the primary risk factor behind cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and most chronic illnesses.
Greater public awareness and political attention are needed to accelerate progress.
Participants will gather near parliaments and other centers of political influence. Public visibility can help shift priorities toward supporting longevity science and biomedical innovation.
What needs to change
A meaningful societal commitment to longevity science requires:
• Major increases in funding for basic aging research
• Regulatory pathways for therapies that target aging
