My first pineapple harvested today. Was in a 5l pot for 3 years then I transplanted into the ground. Took 4 years till harvest. Had a hard life.

Had a quick test with one of the off gridders today.... he flew a heltec T114 with a stubby antenna up 400ft in his drone 25miles 40km away.

So here’s a video on making apple pectin. I haven’t tried making it myself but this seems pretty informative and hopefully I can try it out later on this year. If I do I’ll try to remember to show you guys the result.
YouTube Make Pectin with Green or Unripe Apples! Every year I thin off green apples from my trees to keep them healthy. I might throw away those apples but I like to use them to make pectin. The pectin can be used to make jam, jelly, pie filling or desserts. Check out how to do it!

A friend is mounting his panels and trying to carefully align them. So he uses a small C clamp to hold them on top of unistrut and small wooden wedges to fine tune their placement.

Does anyone know what bird this is? Rather large wingspan.

The above thermostat is available in many lower temperature setpoints... it occurs to me you could clip it on the hotwater line to a shower and turn the vent fan on and off as well.

Also useful for cattle trough de-icing.
