I’ve placed a pig pan down by the pond. You may recall that we have a solar powered pump that fills up a cistern up by the barn that gravity feeds all the water troughs. This pig pen is a little far for that so what I did is tap into the fountain in the pond and use the excess pressure on a float valve in that orange 5 gallon bucket. It fills up every day while the pond is running from the solar pump. I also ran a hose out to the center with a little drip of water from the same water source give the pig some mud to roll around in.
