- Notification Issue Fixed
- Upgraded to Telegram for Android 12.10.3 (7089).
- You can now keep uploads running in the background, with a progress notification and a cancel action.
- Reorganized camera settings with controls for photo quality, video resolution and frame rate.
- Manual camera controls for OIS/EIS, continuous autofocus and noise reduction now use optimized defaults. Added a photo aspect ratio selector, including a 1:1 square option. (inspired by Cherrygram)
- Improved HDR photo/video preview and sending on supported devices.
- Updated CameraX to 1.7.0-alpha03, with fixes for preview cropping, flash, camera switching and round video framing.
- Centered titles are back! Center titles in chats, settings, or both, with a separate profile photo and an adaptive chat title pill.
- Drag and drop is back! Drop external media and files directly into a chat.
- Added support for the Apple logo emoji.
- Added alternative performance detection and a manual performance class override for devices like the Pixel 11 Pro XL that Telegram can incorrectly classify as low-end.
- Added Groq Whisper voice transcription through Custom OpenAI and an updated model picker for OpenRouter.
- You can now customize mention text, show timestamps in Recent Actions, and copy message JSON where content protection allows it.
- Added smaller cache limits, a toggle for Motion Photo recognition, and options to reopen the keyboard after translation and force the maximum refresh rate.
- Improved notification handling, including a fallback alert when a message notification cannot be processed.
- Improved the updater and settings backups. New options from both public betas are now marked with a New badge.
- Fixed crashes in the photo editor, chat list and camera, along with issues affecting Monet colors, title animations and settings controls.
