AI agents are starting to pay for things themselves. 🤖

Two major moves this week point the same direction:

→ Circle’s Arc blockchain launched Agent Payments, giving AI agents a managed on-chain path to transact via the x402 protocol
→ Ripple integrated XRP with Stripe’s tools and the Machine Payments Protocol, letting AI agents autonomously pay for data and services

This is the infrastructure layer catching up to a simple reality: as AI agents take on more tasks, they need a way to settle value — instantly, without a human clicking “confirm” every time.

The rails being built today decide how that gets done tomorrow.
