The Bank of Russia has clarified that P2P buy/sell deals in crypto between individuals are permitted only until 1 July 2027.

After that date, residents will be able to buy and sell cryptocurrencies only through entities that organise the circulation of digital currencies (licensed brokers and organisations included in the Bank of Russia’s register of digital currency exchange providers), or directly with them.

После этой даты покупка и продажа криптовалют резидентами будет возможна только через лиц, организующих обращение цифровых валют (лицензированных брокеров и организации из реестра ЦБ по обмену цифровых валют), либо непосредственно с ними.
