Dear Diary,

Today was as normal as I could have wished for. A normal, good kind of day.

I had a good hair day today, so I managed to take a lot of photos and videos. And hey, I looked great! I mean, I have to appreciate myself when I can, right? Who knows when I'll get another day like this?

I saw a little kitty today! A really cute one that made me want to hide it from the world. Imagine something so small and naive in this big-ass world that doesn't pity anyone, not even me. Sometimes I wish I could protect every little innocent thing from the cruelty of the world. Maybe I'm just being dramatic, but look at that tiny face and tell me it doesn't deserve to be protected.

Something is missing this year.

I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but things feel different somehow. I'm trying to enjoy the little things and keep my energy up, but some days it's harder than it should be.

I'm doing my best, dear life, so could you please show me some mercy? Let me enjoy my little life without making everything so damn complicated.
