Q: How do I use the plugin?

Q: I’m getting "INVALID ID". What does that mean?
A: This usually happens when something was done incorrectly. Follow the guide carefully and make sure to complete each step exactly as shown.

Q: The Spotify for Developers website won’t load. What should I do?
A: That’s a network issue on your end. Try switching to a different provider or Wi-Fi. The plugin itself isn’t the problem.

Q: I had already authenticated and everything was working, but now it says I don’t have permission or that I need to update my token.
A: Tokens expire over time. Use the .update command and follow the instructions to refresh it.

Q: How many fonts can I use?
A: It depends on your phone’s memory. Technically, you can use as many as your device can handle.

Q: Will nowFy support Last.fm?
A: It’s being considered. I have a separate plugin for Last.fm, but it needs improvement before any integration. I don’t have a timeline yet, but it’s possible.

Q: Will new features be added?
A: The original idea was just to show what’s playing with a nice look, and here we are. So yes, more features are planned, but gradually. Testing and developing take time.

Q: Is nowFy only for Spotify?
A: Yes. I made it for Spotify because it’s the only service I use. No need to support others when there are already plugins for them.

Q: Why should I use it?
A: Only if you want to. I made nowFy for myself, but it turned out better than I expected, so I shared it. I wanted something that matched my style. If you like it, great. If not, go eat a banana.

Q: What are the available commands?
A: Just type .use and you’ll see the full list of commands supported by the plugin.

Q: Why can't I skip songs or control playback?
A: Spotify's API restricts playback controls (like skip, pause, resume, etc.) to Premium accounts only. If you're using a Free account, these features won't work, even if you've granted all the required permissions. To use the full functionality, you’ll need a Spotify Premium subscription.
