American rapper Sean Combs, known as P. Diddy, has been transferred from the federal prison at Fort Dix in New Jersey to the Allenwood correctional facility in Pennsylvania. The Associated Press news agency and TMZ reported this, citing sources.

TMZ notes that P. Diddy violated many rules while incarcerated at Fort Dix: correctional facility staff repeatedly issued him warnings and reprimands for using a phone and taking part in fights.

However, the outlet writes that the decision to transfer him may have been linked to concerns for the musician’s safety following an alleged fight with Jamaican drug lord Christopher Coke, nicknamed Dudus.
