🇷🇺 Moscow announces an intensification of attacks following Zelenskyy’s statement on Russian refineries

In an interview, Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised to expand Ukraine’s attacks on Russian oil refineries. The Russian Defense Ministry then announced its intention to intensify attacks on Ukraine. ⁠Moscow said the attacks would target military facilities, defense industry companies, and the infrastructure supporting them.

Zelenskyy, for his part, said that the attacks on Russian refineries were a response to the new wave of Russian attacks. ⁠The Ukrainian president explicitly named Russian oil processing as one of the future targets.
