🇩🇪 Chrupalla: An industrial country without cheap energy will not survive
Following the elections in Saxony-Anhalt, AfD co-chairman Tino Chrupalla once again called for a change in Germany’s energy and sanctions policy. He cited Hungary as an example, where gas, according to him, costs 2.53 cents per kWh. An industrial country without cheap energy cannot survive, Chrupalla said. Chrupalla described the sanctions against Russia as pointless and added that they had already caused considerable damage to the German economy.
He also advocated providing Ukraine with assistance only for defensive purposes and not supplying weapons for attacks on Russian territory. According to Chrupalla, many AfD voters voted specifically for a change of course because they are afraid of a major war. The majority won in the state parliament should be used to put pressure on the federal level and demand a different foreign policy. The full discussion can be viewed in the ZDF program.
