U.S. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll has submitted a request for resignation to President Donald Trump, CNN reports citing three sources familiar with the situation.
One of the sources said that this decision was not unexpected, given the strained relationship between Driscoll and Defense Secretary Pete Hegset.
➡️ Driscoll was one of those who, in 2025–2026, were part of the U.S. delegation at negotiations with Russia on issues of regulating Ukraine.
