🚀 Data on more than two billion galaxies will enable the creation of a telescope that NASA launched.
The SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch vehicle with the Nancy Grace Roman space telescope lifted off from Florida.
The telescope’s mission will last five years. The first images are planned to be published by the beginning of 2027.
📋 NASA specialists expect that the telescope will make it possible to compile data on more than 2 billion galaxies and will help study how stars, galaxies, and their clusters formed and changed, and how, over time, the Universe expanded.
