The RKI crisis team protocol of 22 February 2021 states that genetic sequences are not proof of a pathogen:

⚠️Why is this important?
The original and main publication on the existence of SARS-CoV-2, "A new coronavirus associated with human respiratory disease in China" by Fan Wu et al. published in Nature, was used worldwide as a template for further sequencing, "variants", tests and vaccines, and was based EXCLUSIVELY on genome sequencing.
💥Since, according to the leaked RKI files, "virus cultivation" was strictly speaking not possible (https://t.me/NextLevelOriginal/553), and sequencing is by definition no proof, this is - quite officially - a refutation of the claim that the "SARS-Cov-2 virus" exists.
