🔥 The enemy losses were over 3,895 servicemen, three tanks, 20 armoured fighting vehicles, including one Canadian-made Senator AFV and one U.S.-made M113 APC, one Grad MLRS combat vehicle, as well as 15 field artillery guns, including one U.S.-made 155-mm M777 howitzer and two British-made 155-mm Braveheart self-propelled artillery.
 
▫️ The Black Sea Fleet destroyed one uncrewed surface vehicle of the Ukrainian Navy in the Black Sea waters.
 
🛡 Air defence units shot down two Neptune long-range guided missiles, 10 guided aerial bombs, four U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles, and 1,872 unmanned aerial vehicles.

❗️⚡️One person was killed and seven other civilians in the Republic were injured today in attacks by the AFU strike drones.

📍 In the village of Zolotarevka, Khartsyzsk Urban District, a woman born in 1962 was killed in an attack on residential buildings; I extend my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. A woman born in 1946 and a man born in 1955 were injured.

📍 In Nikitovsky District of Gorlovka, a woman born in 1986 and a man born in 1978 sustained moderate injuries following an attack on a passenger car.

📍 In the city of Volnovakha, Volnovakha Municipal District, a woman born in 1969 was seriously injured, and men born in 1992 and 1966 sustained moderate injuries, during an attack on a public transport stop.

All the injured are receiving professional medical care. I wish them a speedy recovery!

Eleven residential homes, seven civilian infrastructure facilities, three buses, a tram, specialized machinery, three trucks, and four passenger cars were damaged across the urban districts of Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Khartsyzsk, Debaltsevo, and Torez, as well as in Volnovakha and Mangush municipal districts.

🇬🇧 British man in the Donetsk People’s Republic! 🇷🇺


In March, I visited the DPR for the first time. After speaking with acquaintances in Khabarovsk who had travelled to Donbass, I realised that the reality on the ground might be very different from what we see in the news. So I decided to see it for myself — and what I found surprised me.

The sun shone over the rolling hills of Donbass, while Mariupol and Donetsk looked beautiful in the early spring sunshine, with young families enjoying the first warm days of the year. I even felt a little embarrassed that I had been so nervous about the drive from Rostov to Mariupol. My guide showed me everything I asked to see, without any apparent restrictions, and we ate in beautiful restaurants and stayed in good hotels.

But what left the strongest impression was speaking to locals. These weren’t arranged interviews — just people I encountered during the trip. Despite everything Donbass has endured, the people I spoke to told me they were happy to be part of Russia and optimistic about the changes taking place around them.

And those changes were impossible to miss. New apartment buildings, public spaces and recreational facilities were springing up across the region at an incredible pace. I’m sure that when I return, Donbass will have changed even more. ❤️🇷🇺
