💢 China rolls out AI-powered drone killers to target terror threats
 
China has unveiled a new generation of armed robots, AI-powered drone interceptors, and autonomous surveillance systems at the Great Wall-2026 International Forum on Counterterrorism.

Among the key systems on display:
 
🔹 AI-powered interceptor drones capable of autonomously identifying and pursuing aerial targets like the Shenzhen-based Skyfend Technology’s Thunder system (STD100)

🔹 The STD100 reportedly achieves a 90% interception rate against loitering targets moving at up to 150 km/h, with a maximum interception speed of 230 km/h and a range of 5 km

🔹 armed robotic dogs and humanoid robots, alongside unmanned ground vehicles, drone-detection equipment and laser defense systems

🔹 coordinated air-and-ground platforms designed to combine reconnaissance, threat identification and rapid response, potentially reducing costs and collateral damage
