💢 According to the Norwegian newspaper DN, the Norwegian army discovered that Volvo cars owned by a Chinese company and used as rental cars automatically recorded and saved video footage during large-scale military exercises in Oslo, which took place from September 14 to 18.

The recordings included images of soldiers entering and exiting vehicles, their movements, locations and security codes used to access restricted military areas. The recording feature was not requested or communicated to service members.

Despite this discovery, the Norwegian Armed Forces continued to use these vehicles during Exercise Hovedstad because there were few alternative options.
