❗️: 2-3 KAB bombs were launched by SU-34 jets in the Black Sea towards Odessa! The Odessa region is currently under large-scale attack by Banderol missiles and dozens of Geran drones. Overall, multiple waves of drones continue entering Ukraine through the Chernihiv region.

ℹ️: According to Ukrainian air defense authorities, between 6:30 AM on the 12th of September (local time) to 6:30 AM on the 13th of September, Russia launched over 860 long-range UAVs against Ukrainian territory. This is one of the largest drone attacks against Ukraine in recent months, and it's still ongoing.

- The primary targets of the attack are warehouses (mainly in Kyiv), gas stations (in Zhytomyr but also near the Polish border), rail infrastructure, and even energy infrastructure (Rivne).
- Odessa has also been targeted by dozens of drones over the last 24 hours.

🇵🇱: We have finally received new information about the incident around Poland today.

- According to preliminary information, a Ukrainian gas station near a Polish border crossing was struck by a Geran drone.
- The information matches up with the detection of a drone a few kilometers east of the Polish city of Chelm a few hours ago.
- As I warned in my post today, Russia likely intends to launch further attacks against Ukrainian border crossings with Poland within the next few months.
- Specifically, the location of the strike is reported as the "Yagodyn" border crossing.

🚀: Russian drones are steadily continuing to enter Ukrainian airspace in small groups.

- No further information has been released by Polish authorities about the earlier incident. Air sirens in eastern Poland sounded several times before being canceled around 30 minutes ago.
- A majority of the drones over Ukraine are currently in transit through the Chernihiv and Kyiv regions, mostly on a western course. There are around 20 drones in this direction.
- As for western Ukraine itself, the Odessa, Lviv, Zhytomyr, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions are currently being targeted by Geran-2 drones. Less than 20 such drones are present in this direction.

🇵🇱: Polish air-defense command says that their forces entered a state of readiness in response to Russia's drone attack on western Ukraine.

Attention. Due to the activity of jet unmanned aerial vehicles of the Russian Federation, carrying out strikes on the territory of Ukraine, military aviation operations in Polish airspace have begun. In accordance with the applicable procedures, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, through the Air Operations Center – Air Component Command, has activated the necessary forces and means at its disposal. Ground-based air defence and radar reconnaissance systems have reached a state of readiness. These actions are preventive in nature and are aimed at securing and protecting airspace, especially in areas adjacent to areas at risk. The Operational Command of the RSZ monitors the current situation, and the subordinate forces and means remain ready for immediate response.

ℹ️: More information: at least 1 Russian UAV flew over the far-western Ukrainian village of Shatsk, just 20 kilometers from the Polish border. We are awaiting further clarification. It's possible that the drone targeted border infrastructure as I previously warned was possible.

🇵🇱: Recent statements by Polish government and defense authorities suggest that Russia may be preparing to target border crossings between Poland and Ukraine with drones in the near future. It's certainly a possibility that's worth keeping an eye on. Previously, Russian drones have been targeting logistics near Ukraine's border with Romania and Moldova.

🚀: Around 25 Geran-2 drones still remain in Ukrainian airspace as of now. Russia has been intermittently launching new waves of drones for the last 24 hours. These drones originate from stockpiles created by the Russian military in preparation for the winter campaign against Ukrainian logistics and energy. Such attacks will likely become increasingly common and persistent in the near future. Russia has likely accumulated tens of thousands of Geran-2 drones to be used in the coming months.

🚀: Currently, approximately 50 Geran-2 drones remain in Ukrainian airspace. The large-scale drone attack against Ukraine is continuing with additional launches having taken place. Hours ago, Ukrainian President Zelensky claimed that Russia had already launched 500 drones during the 12th of September.

🇷🇴: Yet another drone impacted in Romanian territory after traveling through Moldovan airspace today.

- Moldovan authorities diverted several flights on the 12th of September after a drone was detected flying over northern parts of the country (red arrows).
- The airspace over central and northern Moldova was closed temporarily.
- 2 Romanian F-16s were scrambled from a southern airbase in response to the drone threat (blue arrow).
- According to Romanian media, the drone crashed in a cornfield in Suceava County, causing minor damage and no casualties.

ℹ️: Several major alerts have been issued by Ukrainian media and government sources during the last 24 hours:

- A new warning has been issued in Kyiv for the next 72 hours after a US intelligence assessment noted the possibility of renewed Russian attacks against the city with approximately 24 missiles.
- The large-scale Russian drone attack on western Ukraine that authorities have been warning about is currently taking place. Ukrainian media outlets warn of the possibility that an additional thousand Geran drones could be launched during the next 24 hours.
