NYSE President Lynn Martin confirmed the exchange is building an onchain settlement platform for tokenized securities, following its participation in DTCC's tokenization pilot in July.
Matters because: adding a major traditional exchange to tokenization infrastructure points to continued TradFi-DeFi convergence and could expand long-term demand for onchain settlement and oracle infrastructure tokens.
