Zcash breaks nine-year downtrend vs. Bitcoin, trading near $510 – Link

ZEC has broken out of a multi-year downtrend against BTC, and its Ironwood shielded pool has surpassed Orchard to become Zcash's largest privacy pool, now holding over $1B in locked ZEC.

Matters because: the breakout and rising shielded-pool usage point to renewed structural interest in privacy coins.
