Cboe opens options trading beyond market hours starting Monday
Cboe launches extended-hours options trading for 24 major US stocks and five ETFs, adding premarket and after-hours sessions starting Monday.
The move covers blue-chip equities and broad-based ETFs, allowing options traders to execute strategies outside the standard 9:30 AM-4:00 PM ET window.
Extended-hours options trading reduces gaps between market close and open, letting traders hedge positions or adjust exposure when news breaks overnight.
