Ripple moves custody infrastructure into South Korea's institutional markets

Ripple and Meritz Securities are partnering to build custody and tokenization services for South Korea's capital markets. The two will operate within existing regulations initially.

Meritz plans to offer Ripple Custody alongside spot ETFs, fractional investments, security tokens, trading platforms, and won-denominated stablecoins. The partnership targets South Korea's institutional investors through one of the country's major securities firms.
