I analyze LP wallets and see the same mistake in almost every one
Nearly all slow cooks get opened at market price
Saw a token, decided to enter, opened the position
> How it works in trading
No trader works like that
A trader sees a token near its all time high and doesn't buy, too expensive
He wants the token, just not at these levels, so he waits for a correction
Sometimes an expensive token gets even more expensive, but on the SOL chain that's the exception
Basic stuff, nothing surprising
Yet in LP people just ape in without a second thought
I'm convinced this approach creates a ton of losses and comes down to impatience
> How I open positions
Meteora lets you open a position at any levels, not just market price
Screenshot shows an example, a range 20% below the current price
I opened way below and I'm waiting for the token to come into my range
If it goes higher, I might reopen higher, but not at the current price
My goal is to catch the consolidation and sideways action
I use this approach quite often
> When I do enter at market price
Only when there's high print right here right now and I expect the token to trade in the range I need
Strongly recommend thinking about your entry point, it matters just as much as picking the token
