Terms of the Peace Accord for Builders (Last modified: 16 January 2026)

@sarthakroy2002 & @cyberknight777 are hereinafter referred to as the lead developers.

- You can build any ROM or port any OEM ROM you want.
- You must OWN the device that you are building for. Blind building is NOT allowed.
- However you are not to build the ROMs that we build as the lead developers have mentioned it before.
- You can request to post your source-built ROMs anytime but remember the quota is 2 ROMs per person.
- If you are building two ROMs, you are expected to keep maintaining it. Exceptions exist for this, such as when the ROM you maintain gets official by someone else then you can switch or when the ROM source itself is fucked up (breaks device stuff) then you can switch but you should inform the lead developers beforehand. Do not switch ROMs just because you feel like it.
- All ported ROMs will NOT be posted in the main channel. Use the ports channel for that.
- You are not to have your own "moto g54 community". This action will violate the terms of this peace accord.
- You are not to try to compare between the work you do and the work the lead developers do. You also have to make sure to make your users understand this.
- You are not to make any hindering comments about the lead developers at all times.
- You are to credit people who have helped you or the sources you have used to do your stuff when releasing be it in your channel or in the main channel. The credits must include the lead developers.
- You are not to make any changes in the device trees apart from adaptations to whatever ROM you are building for. If you have any suggestions for improvements, discuss it with the lead developers and make a pull request to the device trees.
- You are not to make any changes in the prebuilt kernel tree at all cost.
- You are not to ship any pre-rooted builds.
- All release builds must be configured as user, SELinux Enforcing and signed with privately generated release-keys.
- If users try to poke fun of you or try to mock you - defuse the situation and make them understand the facts.
[Addenda below are specific to OEM ports utilizing Custom ROM kernel and vendor]
- Porters are allowed to use Custom ROM kernel and vendor.
- Porters are not allowed to make any changes to the kernel subsystem (boot, vendor_boot, vendor_dlkm), this includes the recovery resources.
- Porters are not allowed to utilize custom recoveries to flash their OEM ports, they must only utilize fastboot scripts for this purpose.
- Porters are not allowed to make unnecessary changes to the vendor.
- Porters must open source their work that involves the Custom ROM vendor for transparency purposes.
- Porters must ship OEM ports with SELinux enforcing.
- Porters must credit the lead developers for their work on the Custom ROM kernel and vendor.
- Porters are not allowed to compare with the work the lead developers do and the work they do.
- Porters are not allowed to port AOSP ROMs.
- Porters must use either YAAP or PixelOS' vendor for their porting purposes.

Most important rule of them all:
- Do NOT build EvolutionX and Project Elixir as EvolutionX has unlawfully released the banking information of some people and has worked with carders and Project Elixir is known to wipe their users' data, eSIM profiles and so on for executing an adb command.

Failure to comply with these terms will result in immediate removal and permanent ban from all Motorola G54 community channels and related groups.
