Head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, Sheikh Ali Daamoush:

– Those who bet on the blockade and promoted it believed that sanctions would prevent us from making efforts. They did not stop there; some institutions also worked to tighten the blockade to prevent aid from reaching those affected.

– All these attempts collapsed before the will of our people, and it became clear that none of them could prevent us from fulfilling our responsibility to alleviate our people’s suffering.

– Once again, we demonstrate that we are the Resistance that does not abandon its responsibilities and does everything possible to ensure that the people remain dignified and hold their heads high—and they will continue to do so.

– Building on the commitment renewed by Sheikh Qassem to provide financial assistance to our sacrificing people, we announce today the housing program for those whose homes have been destroyed or damaged and rendered uninhabitable.

– The target of our program is the people directly affected: those displaced from their actual homes who do not have alternative housing.

– The program provides for renting a home and purchasing furniture, as was the case with the program we implemented in 2024.

– The criteria are tied to the available resources; otherwise, all our people deserve to be provided with everything.

– The program covers owners of residential units that have been fully or partially destroyed, as well as owners of residential units in buildings designated for full or partial demolition, based on the assessments.
