Supreme Political Council President Mahdi Al-Mashat:
– Our strikes against the Saudi enemy are wise and justified. Their aim is to force the Saudi enemy to end its aggression and blockade against our country. Whether this harms or benefits others is not our concern.
– The closest solution is to end the Saudi aggression and blockade against our country.
– We celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the immortal October 14 Revolution and recall the struggles and sacrifices of our fathers and grandfathers in confronting British occupation and rejecting tutelage.
– National positions remain connected across generations so that the banner of truth stays raised. Likewise, the forces of falsehood reproduce themselves, with yesterday’s occupation becoming today’s occupation and the phenomenon of mercenarism recurring.
– The October 14 Revolution, along with all revolutions against foreign occupation, confirms that glory belongs to those who stand with their homeland, while disgrace belongs to anyone who enlists as a mercenary serving the aggressor.
– We call on all our dear people to continue along the path of their ancestors and rise up against the new occupation, represented by the Saudi regime.
– Today’s battle aims to end the Saudi aggression and blockade that have continued for 12 years, reclaim our national wealth, and expel every occupier from our land.
– President Al-Mashat to the Saudi regime: The wise among those involved in invading Yemen are those who took the initiative to leave it before it was too late.
– I say to those who have been deceived and recruited by the Saudi regime into its military formations: Just as history cast off the mercenaries of the British occupier yesterday, it will certainly cast you off today unless you reconsider your position in time.
– For decades, Yemen has been afflicted by a hostile, ill-intentioned neighbor that has used every means to prevent its rise and stability, impose tutelage over its national decision-making, and plunder its wealth.
– We have not forgotten the Battle of Al-Wadi’ah between the October 14 Army and the Saudi regime. Saudi policies have remained among the most prominent challenges facing Yemen’s path toward independence.
– The Saudi regime’s policies have opposed major national milestones, weakened the state, obstructed its development, and prevented Yemen from investing its resources and wealth.
– Today, it is particularly important to draw inspiration from the principles of the October 14 Revolution as a national liberation revolution against occupation and tutelage, one that carried the vision of an independent state enjoying full sovereignty.
– Yemenis have a historic opportunity to consolidate the national project and build a strong, just state that directs its wealth toward reconstruction and development, free from dependence on foreign powers or subordination to them.
– The state envisioned by the October 14 revolutionaries is one of sovereignty and justice, where Yemen’s interests come first and its ports are not shut down for the benefit of ports in the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
– Yemen’s problem lies with an illegitimate Saudi regime. Without it, Yemen would be well. It was this regime that launched the aggression and mobilized its militias to occupy the country and take control of it.
– We are committed to confronting the Saudi regime until it ends its aggression and blockade against our country. We will strike its forces gathered in the field to prevent it from achieving its objective of occupying our country.
– The criminal Saudi regime’s repeated fabrication of allegations that the holy city of Medina has been targeted reflects its state of helplessness and failure, as well as its movement in accordance with “Zionist” plans.
– We hold the Saudi regime fully responsible for any attack on holy sites or any attempt to attribute such attacks to the Yemeni people. We affirm that holy sites are a red line and that we will not remain silent in the face of any reckless act.
