The goblet of Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich Romanov was crafted in the workshops of the Moscow Kremlin around 1618. A gift from his mother, Tsaritsa Marfa, for Easter, this low, wide vessel was hand-forged from gold and adorned with silver, pearls, intricate carving, and cloisonné enamel patterns. Large sapphires, rubies, and emeralds are set into the handle, spout, and base. This masterpiece was kept in the "Great Treasury" and used to decorate feasts and serve drinks to the most honored guests.
