We've been struggling to find a good naming convention for Minimask, our latest development which is essentially Metamask for Minima.

To be exact, we're somewhat biased and can't seem to come up with a good naming convention without adding Minima or Maxima in the name of the product we've built. So we thought this would be a great opportunity for us to get your thoughts on this !

A new category of technology is emerging: Blockchain-on-Chip - pioneered by Minima.

Instead of relying on cloud infrastructure, machines can embed blockchain directly in hardware, allowing them to record actions to a tamper-resistant, independently verifiable ledger.

One example: the Blockchain Black Box.

Together with the University of Southampton, and supported by Siemens and Arm, we demonstrated the world’s first drone flight recording data to a blockchain-secured ledger.

That milestone brings the technology to TRL 6 - proven in a real-world environment.

Big milestone for Blockchain-on-Chip today.

Our work has been featured by The Engineer, one of the world’s oldest and most respected engineering publications.

Founded in 1856, The Engineer has been covering breakthrough technologies since the days of Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Robert Stephenson, documenting the innovations that shaped modern industry.

Today its audience is made up of professional engineers, technologists, and industrial leaders working across sectors like semiconductors, aerospace, defence, robotics and advanced manufacturing.

World First: Blockchain Black Box

We’ve just released a documentary showing the development and testing of Blockchain-on-Chip, technology that allows machines to record their actions directly to a tamper-resistant blockchain ledger.

Together with the incredible engineering team at the University of Southampton, and with support from Arm and Siemens, we successfully demonstrated the world’s first blockchain black box on a drone in flight.

This milestone pushes the project to TRL 6: system proven in a real-world environment.

Why?

Autonomous machines will need to prove what they did independently - for regulators, insurers, and public trust.

This tech enables verifiable machine data across:

Proud to see this milestone shared by the team at the University of Southampton.

What their student engineers have achieved here is more than a demo - it’s the first real-world validation of a blockchain black box operating on a drone in flight.

By recording flight data directly to a secure, tamper-resistant digital ledger, this work shows how autonomous systems can prove what they have done independently, without relying on a central authority or editable database.

That’s a critical step for regulators, insurers and public trust.

Weekly Engineering Update

This week the team has been focused on strengthening the underlying infrastructure that supports Integritas.

Work has been carried out on technical improvements to the Marketplace and Licensing systems - refining the mechanisms that underpin how Integritas services are accessed, managed, and provisioned. These upgrades are aimed at improving reliability, scalability, and overall operational robustness as usage grows.

On the commercial side of Integritas, the team has been actively researching sales tooling to better structure pipeline management and outbound engagement. Alongside this, they have begun direct outreach to prospective clients, starting to formalise the early-stage demand side of the Integritas offering.

Overall, this week has been about tightening the foundations - improving the systems that support distribution and beginning to systemise commercial outreach in parallel with continued technical development.

Weekly Engineering Update

This week saw a new DEX iteration land with the release of v0.9.1.

The update includes a series of UX/UI improvements aimed at tightening the overall experience and smoothing user flows. In addition, real-time notifications have been expanded, with chat message alerts and new trade notifications now integrated. These changes move the DEX closer to a more responsive, production-ready trading environment, while continuing to incorporate tester feedback as the platform matures.

On the Integritas side, work continues to expand ecosystem integrations. This week includes integration with RelAI, extending Integritas functionality into new AI-driven environments and marketplaces.

Weekly Engineering Update

This week the Integritas team has been digging deep into the Explorer API, focusing on performance improvements across core functionality. The aim here is to make the underlying systems faster, more efficient, and better suited for higher-demand usage as Integritas continues to scale.

Alongside this, the team has completed and fully documented the new Integritas v2 API endpoints. These are now the endpoints being used with our custom GPT integrations, and represent a cleaner, more robust interface for developers building on top of Integritas.

Over on the DEX, the team is deep into testing. Work this week has centred on optimisation and refinement, with several improvements and adjustments being made directly in response to tester feedback as the product is exercised more heavily.

Weekly Engineering Update

This week marked a solid step forward across both core protocol and Integritas.

The DEX was demo’d during the dev call, giving a first look at how things are shaping up end-to-end. Alpha testing has now begun, with early feedback already being folded back into development as the system is exercised more heavily.

On the Integritas side, the MCP server is now live and operational, with active connections to both ChatGPT and Claude. Alongside this, work is underway to further harden MCP security as we move from initial functionality toward production-grade robustness.

In parallel, planning has started on the next phase of Distributed API Licensing for Integritas Distro, the self-hosted version of Integritas Core and the Search API. This work lays important groundwork for how Integritas can be deployed, licensed, and operated in more decentralised environments.

We’ve also been developing an Integritas video demo, with final delivery pending a small number of additional visual assets.

As ever, progress is steady, iterative, and heading in the right direction.

Weekly Engineering Update 23 Jan

DEX

Paddy has completed the first working version of the Minima DEX. Internal progress is strong, and he’s aiming to let the team start playing with it sometime next week. It’s not demo-ready yet, but this is a meaningful milestone.

Stablecoin Bridge

Final testing on the stablecoin bridge is now complete. We’re in the last stretch before launch, with the remaining work focused on setting up the final components - primarily deploying the bridge contract.

Chip & Hardware Progress

The drone project was successfully demo’d yesterday at Southampton. This sits alongside a growing body of work including a joint OpEd with the university, a forthcoming video documentary, and additional content planned.
