📚اصطلاح “all bark and no bite”:
📌 از این اصطلاح برای اشاره به شخصی استفاده میشه که فقط ادعای انجام کاری رو داره، حرف میزنه، تهدید می‌کنه، ولی هیچوقت عمل نمی‌کنه. این اصطلاح رو میشه معادل اصطلاحات “سگی که واق واق می‌کنه گاز نمی‌گیره”، “طبل تو خالی” و یا “فقط لب و دهنی” دونست:
Example:
• The boss talks a big game about taking strict action against employees who break the rules, but in reality, he's all bark and no bite.
رئیس درباره اتخاذ تدابیر سخت واسه کارمندایی که قوانین رو نقض می‌کنن، صحبت‌های زیادی می‌کنه، اما در واقع، اون فقط لب و دهنه و هیچ کاری نمی‌کنه.
