This is the famous Wiggle chair (1972) by Frank Gehry, one of the leading contemporary architects, enfant terrible of modern architecture, famous for the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao or the Dancing House in Prague. Interestingly, like most of Gehry’s works, both in design and architecture, this chair is far from the ordinary in the choice of material, for one thing. It is made of corrugated cardboard and originally sold for 100 times its cost of manufacture.
