Здесь же за счёт минимального количества атрибутов тогдашнего модернизма и их контрастного расположения относительно друг друга и края стола у Пенна получилось создать очень напряжённый и сильный образ. А атрибутами являются: горшочное растение, обязательное для интерьеров того периода, мобиль Александра Колдера, абстрактная геометрическая скульптура и, конечно, «Голова женщины» Пикассо, которая предстаёт единственным участником этого действа, заинтересованным происходящим.

Unlike «natural» pictures, this «artificial» one produces a powerful effect thanks to the tension Penn achieved with minimalist decor representative of the period and the contrast created by the positions of all these objects relative to each other as well as the edge of the table. The decor consists of a potted plant typically found in mid-century interiors, a Calder mobile, an abstract geometric sculpture, and a Picasso Woman’s Head, the latter is the only one in the picture that shows a keen interest in what is going on around.
