🇷🇺🇹🇷 On October 15, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of Turkiye Hakan Fidan held a meeting on the sidelines of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (#CICA) Summit in Baku.

The Ministers exchanged views on current priorities for strengthening trade, economic and energy cooperation, with a focus on progress in implementing key bilateral projects.

They reaffirmed the importance of coordination between Russia and Turkiye on the international stage, including efforts to promote a just settlement of the crisis surrounding Ukraine.

The Ministers also reviewed the schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest and other senior levels.
