🎙 Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s opening remarks during a meeting with high representatives of the Pacific Small Island Developing States on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (New York, September 25, 2025)

💬 Sergey Lavrov: Colleagues,

I am pleased to have another opportunity to meet in this important format of dialogue between Russia and the Pacific Small Island Developing States.

In recent years, this dialogue mechanism has unequivocally established itself as a highly sought-after and effective platform for exchanging views, both on areas of bilateral collaboration and on pressing issues of the regional and global agenda.

I am confident that today’s conversation will also enable us to identify further avenues for our partnership.
